To change the World

Devoid of inner peace, the man today is madly running after material comforts and pleasure with an all consuming passion. With its miraculous achievements, science has conquired many forces of nature but has also taken hold of man's heart. His natural instinct to go beyond materialism towards the fountain head of love and spiritual bliss has died in him. He has lost the capacity, even the inner urge, to extricate himself from the situation.

The religious communities have become commercialised and attached to the moneyed class. Instead of propagating love and faith in God they are spreading mutual hatred and snife. They are in fact killing God in the name of God. Alongside it, persons displaying some occult Powers are ruling the roast. The exebitionists of cheap supernatural powers have assumed the role of great spiritual masters or Gurus. The so-called bright stars of spiritual firmament are only trading Godhood in the market place for a penny or two.

In this mid-night darkness of human history, the man must be awakened and rescued, even per force. This task, however, can be accomplished only by the highest spiritual power of the world. In the last five hundred years, the great men of the spiritual world have been engaged in vigorous spiritual practices-Tapasya-for the advent of such power. And, now their efforts or Tapasya have borne fruit. An incarnation of God has descended on the earth for the change of human heart, destruction of evil forces, establishment of a new religion of Man and an authentic and healthy order of Gurus or spiritual Masters, creation of a new world culture based on love and brotherhood, to humble the present seats of political power of the world and lead men to one world government and, to instill in them a genuine accetance of the world religion, the world culture and citizenship.

This incarnation is not the Hindu God, nor the Muslim God, nor the Christian God either. He is the Lord of the universe --JAGANNATH.

The dream of world religion and world state has to take shape and colour, otherwise the falling towers of the past will create a vacuum and darkness will surround the world. World religion and world state will not serve the real porpose without the background of world culture which will demand new education, new scientific approach, new industrial policy, new social order and political organisation. The task is stupendous, as never faced by history before. The gigantic efforts of human race during the last two hundred years in creating an ideal social order in the name of free democratic society or communism or dictatorship have dashed on the rock of self-centred individualism. Man has cleverly cheated the church, the state and even the avtars (incarnation) and prophets and cultural institutions. The new age demands simaltmsneous creation of New Man and a new social order.

Man must eschew the vanity that he can bring about such a great revolution without devine aid. In all humility he should pray to the Divine Power so that he may develop the necessary qualification of an executor of the Divine Will. And what are those qualifications?

1. BE A HUMAN BEING :
   Be a man. The all devouring selfishness of man must be restrained. A man is not supposed to think of an act for his own welfare all the time. He must love the society and the world at large and express his love for the world in action. The world belongs to him and he belongs to the world. The prevailing animality within must be thrown out.
2. ''I'' SHOULD BE REPLACED BY ''WE'' :
   "I" divides us and the demonic selfishness is at the root of all evils. One must try to get this extreme selfishness under control.
3. LEADING A SPIRITUAL LIFE :
   BASED ON LOVE, COMPASSION, SHARING, EQUALITY etc. One must realise and express in life that God is neither Christian, nor Moslem, nor Buddhist, nor Hindu. God belongs to all without any difference. Let God/Love/Truth guide us individually and collectively. One must pray for the welfare of all.
4. REGULAR SPIRITUAL PRACTICE :
   Individual and collective worship on the basis of universal brotherhood and love. The basic requirement for the success of such a practice (Sadhana, worship) is the purification of the Body, Prana (Energy) and Mind. The system of worship may vary from individual to individual.
5. SERVICE TO HUMANITY ON THE BASIS OF UNIVERSAL LOVE :
   One must end this piece by quoting the great spiritual personality Aurobinda--'' A few shall see what none yet understands, God shall grow up while the wise man talk and sleep, for man shall not know the coming, till its hour and belief shall be not till the work is done.''
